We had a great day today!
Reading-We went over the first cold read and talked about how important it is to use RAP when answering the questions:R-Restate, A-Answer, P-Prove.
Writing-We looked at areas of our drafts where we could add details about the five senses and then did some more revising.
Social Studies-We watched a video on the west and learned those states and capitals.
Math-Students received their tests back and also took the September Math Tungsten.
Word Study-Groups 1 and 2 took their test while Groups 3 and 4 did a buddy check.
Homework:
Reading-Cold read due 9/15. Read!
Math-Correct test if needed
Word Study-Group 1/2--contract due Monday, Groups 3/4--test Monday
