Reading-We read Thunder Cake today to look at the fictional story elements and to discuss main idea. Groups also met.
Writing-We re-copied our revised drafts to prepare them for editing.
Math-Today we began Chapter 4 and learned about expressions and variables. This can be tricky so your child may need some extra homework help tonight. The re-teach side has great explanations!
Homework:
Reading-Cold read due tomorrow.
Writing-Finish copying draft.
Math-WS 4.1, correct and/or get test signed
Science-By Monday, students need to bring in a SMALL ziplock bag of rocks.
Social Studies-Study states and capitals. Also, for extra credit students will have the opportunity to identify the location of the states.
