September 14th

We had a quick day today!
Reading-We spent a little bit of time writing thick and thin questions from our independent books.

Math-We added and subtracted large numbers.  Students need to be very careful to borrow and regroup correctly.  I strongly encourage the use of graph paper to keep the numbers lined up correctly.

We also met with our buddies today to make cards for the heroes who are visiting on Friday.  See the pictures below!

Homework:
Math-A lot of students finished, but if not, they need to do WS 3.3.

Reading-Cold read is due tomorrow.

Social Studies-Study states and capitals.  Packet on regions due Friday.
