I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Here's what we did today:
Reading-We visited the library and also met in groups.
Writing-We began publishing our first writing pieces. Some students are typing and others are writing them out. We talked about different parts of a book they may want to include such as a dedication page or an about the author page.
Math-We learned how to write rules for input/output tables using equations.
Word Study-I met with groups to complete another sort.
Homework:
READ!--There will not be a cold read this week.
Math-WS 4.4--Chapter 4 test will either be Thursday or Monday, depending on the students' understanding this week.
Word Study-1/2--test Wednesday, 3/4 --test Thursday
Social Studies-States and Capitals test is on Thursday!!
**Wednesday is picture day!
**Friday is a professional development day so students should not attend school.
