Here's what we did today:
Reading-We continued discussing thick questions. Students also completed a short assessment on questioning in fiction and non-fiction.
Writing-Students spent some time writing in their Writer's Notebook as we began to enter our Tungsten answers.
Social Studies-We played a review game of states and capitals. The test is in less than two weeks so students really need to start studying hard. They will receive an alphabetical list of the 50 states and will have to write in the capitals. There will not be a word bank.
Math-We learned when an exact answer vs. estimated answer is needed in word problems.
Homework:
Writing-If students haven't written in their Writer's Notebook at home yet, they need to do that this weekend.
