September 7th

Here's what we did today:
Reading-We continued using a non-fiction book to write "I wonder" statements.  I also met with the other guided reading groups.

Writing-Students continued drafting their first piece of writing to publish.

Social Studies-Today we watched a video on the mountain states and recorded the states and capitals of this region in our Passport books.

Math-We reviewed for the Chapter 2 test.

Word Study-I met with Group 3 to do a word sort while Groups 1, 2, and 4 worked on their contract.  I will meet with Group 4 tomorrow.

We also welcomed a new student, Miranda, to our class today!  We are happy to have her with us!
