Here's what we did today:
Reading-We met in groups today. Mrs. Critchlow came in for a counseling lesson so we did not have a reading lesson today.
Writing-Students edited their drafts for spelling today and we had a lesson on how to use the guide words in a dictionary.
Math-We learned the three properties of addition: commutative, identity, associative.
We reviewed states and capitals during our word study time so I am pushing back the spelling tests and contract due dates as follows: Group 1/2--Test 9/28, Contract 9/29. Group 3/4--Test 9/29, Contract 9/30.
Homework:
Math-WS 4.2, all problems
Social Studies-Study states and capitals!!
Read and write in your Writer's Notebooks.
**I will be out of town for my sister-in-law's wedding this weekend so I will not be here tomorrow. Our sub is Mrs. Nikodem and Miss Bergin will teach as well. I will be back on Monday. Have a great weekend!
