January 31st

Here's what we did today:
Writing-We continued to work on our opening paragraphs today.

Reading-We analyzed the way in which the author wrote the article about school uniforms and found proof for her opinion.

Social Studies-We did a TFK and looked at some of the non-fiction features.

Math-Students worked on a practice test for tomorrow's division test.

Math2-We learned different ways to classify triangles.

Homework:
Writing-See previous post to post attention grabber of opening paragraph to blog.

Math-Study Chapters 13-14 (I gave students a lot of extra worksheets that they can use for practice--They are optional and are just meant as a study aid.)  WS 18.2 on triangles DOES need to be completed and handed in.

**Tomorrow is our field trip to Sheldon.  We will be back for our usual lunch.  I told the kids to make sure to dress a little nice :)
