January 25th

Here's what we did today:
Writing-We began drafting our body paragraphs.  We learned different, creative ways to write topic sentences and discussed the body and closing of the paragraph as well.

Reading-We discussed more about the way the author organized the article on video games. 

Social Studies-We completed the study guide for tomorrow's test.

Math-We tried a predict and test strategy to solve some division word problems. 

Math2-Students used a grid to solve problems.

Homework:
Reading-Literature Circles meet tomorrow.

Writing-Some students are still not finished with their research.  This needs to be completed or they will fall behind on their draft.

Math-WS 17.4, There will be a quiz over Chapter 17 (Geometry) tomorrow.  Students have a blue packet of definitions.  We have covered up to perpendicular lines.

Social Studies-Study Chapter 4--Test and packet due tomorrow.
