I hope everyone had a great weekend! Here's what we did today:
Writing-We researched some more and begin to choose which facts to include in our reports. Tomorrow will be our last day for research. We will begin drafting on Wednesday.
Reading-Students visited the library and met in literature circles.
Social Studies-We watched a National Geographic video on Lewis and Clark.
Math-We worked very hard on Long Division.
Homework:
Social Studies-Chapter 4 test and packet due on Thursday.
Math-WS 13.3--all, Please help your child with this tonight . . . We use the phrase "Does McDonald's Sell CheeseBurgers?" to remember to "Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Compare, Bring down". Many students are having difficulty knowing which number to divide by after the bring down step.
Have a great night and don't forget about Jump Rope for Heart forms and Field Trip forms and $6.
I Had fun in class today. Especially in math. also I'm dissapointed that tomorrow is Tuesday. Only Because Tuesday is the most boring day of all.
