Here's what we did today:
Writing-We looked at a website to evaluate the reliability of some online sources. Here's the link: Tree Octopus. Students spent time researching their chosen country.
Reading-We went over the December Reading Tungsten and took January's.
Math-Students took the Chapter 11 test.
Word Study-Groups 1/2 took their test while Groups 3/4 did a buddy check.
Homework:
Writing-All students need a book on their country by Friday. Many students already have one. Also, don't forget about the Writer's Notebook.
Word Study-Groups 1/2--contract due tomorrow, Groups 3/4--test tomorrow.
*Don't forget that tomorrow is Early Release!
*Friday is Muffins with Mom from 7:45-8:15.
*Please send back the signed slip from the report card if you haven't already done so. Thanks!
I had went on wikipiedia and showed my dad the octupuse in the tree but my dad said thats not real and then i said no it is real when i was finished i told my dad to look at top and he read it and i laughed then i said u fell for it
