November 9th

Here's what we did today:
Writing-We discussed what to look for when editing such as spelling, capitals, ending punctuation marks, correct dialogue punctuation, correct use of to, two, and too, and run on sentences.

Reading-Students made inferences in a story using information from the text and visualizations.l

Social Studies-We worked on a study guide for the Chapter 2 test.

We also had a Junior Achievement lesson and played a game to practice income, expenses, and profit/losses.

*Don't forget to bring in protein items for Adopt a Family.
*Check your child's backpack for information on a fundraiser we are doing selling yummy cookie dough!
*Next week, Mrs. Phillips' class will be having a fundraiser to raise money for solar flashlights to be sent to countries that need them.  They will be selling candy so bring your change!
*Book orders due Friday!
