Sorry for the late post! I was in a meeting this afternoon.
Here's what went on today:
Writing-Students continued working on personal narratives and met with a partner to help them choose one of their drafts to publish.
Reading-We continued making inferences. Students are making progress in realizing the difference between and inference and a prediction.
Social Studies-Students learned about latitude and longitude, as well as different resources in Missouri.
Math-We began Chapter 7 and worked on bar graphs and double bar graphs.
Word Study-Groups 1/2 worked on their contracts while Groups 3/4 did their word sort.

Social Studies-Chapter 1 packet due tomorrow, Chapter 1 test on Thursday
**Tomorrow students will be participating in an Economics Day where they will visit all the fourth grade classrooms to learn various economics concepts in preparation for our field trip next week.
