Here's what we did today:
Math-We began Chapter 15 and learned how to estimate to help with long division with two digit divisors.
Reading-I went to edmodo.com and students learned how to get on and make comments about their literature circle.
Writing-Students worked on their poetry.
Social Studies-We played a game to review the three branches of government. We also discussed our state government.
Word Study-I met with Groups 1 and 2 to do their word sort while Groups 3 and 4 prepared their words.

Math-WS 15.1
Reading-Literature Circles meet tomorrow. Each group has a page in edmodo. Students have or will create an account using the group code I've given them and respond to the discussion question posted. If any students have trouble with Edmodo they can respond with their first impressions of their book on paper and hand it in tomorrow.
Writing-Write in Writer's Notebook
