Here's what we did today:
Writing-We discussed how to make our readers connect with the characters in our writing.
Reading-Students made notes in their own books about how the author helped to connect with and understand a character.
Math-We are working hard on tesselations!
Grammar-Together, we worked on prepositions and identifying the object of the preposition.
Homework:
Reading-Lit. Circles meet Friday.
Writing-Writer's Notebook
**Field Trip Tomorrow!
-Students MUST wear tennis shoes and sunscreen. Please send them to school wearing sunscreen.
-They need to bring a sack lunch and drink. Please send the lunch in a bag that can be thrown away. Also, the lunch will be sitting on a hot bus for a couple hours so make sure it is food that won't spoil in the heat. You might want to freeze a water bottle tonight and send that with the lunch so students will have a cold drink.
-We are leaving shortly after arriving at school, so students need to be on time!
